I recently had an EV charger installed by Intravolt Electric, and had a great experience. From the initial consultation to the installation, the process was seamless. Tro was incredibly knowledgeable, explaining all the details and answering all of my questions. The installation was quick, efficient, and very tidy. He also followed up to ensure that everything was working perfectly and that I was completely satisfied with the service. This review is long overdue to say the least. I found Troy through my realtor (Lar @ Team Rock). My breaker box was severely outdated (fire hazard) and needed to be replaced, electrical plugs needed updating and I needed new plugs throughout and much more. Troy was professional, responsive, hard working and honest. Working within the confines of Glendale's Water and Power structure presented a challenge, but Troy kept me informed and took care of everything needed. I never felt I was overcharged and I was able to pay over time. When I need electrical work again, Troy will be the person I will be turning to @ Intravolt Electric.
I had an awesome experience working with Intravolt. I met with a few different companies to discuss my project and to get estimates. I felt the most comfortable with Troy based on his knowledge/expertise, communication, and reasonable quote. Some of the other contractors wanted to rush the job, and Troy took time to understand my requirements and discussed different options thinking of future expansion as well. Overall I am very happy with the final result. Troy did a great clean job adding a new electrical sub-panel for our new sauna. The installation was neat both at the main panel and new sub-panel location. He also had good suggestions to my initial plan, such as using flexible conduit to allow the sauna to be shifted if needed in the future for repairs or maintenance, which I appreciated. Troy was always timely, friendly, and easy to communicate with. He is available and very responsive. The entire process was smooth and hassle-free. Troy is reliable and I will definitely work with him for my future electrical projects. Highly recommend!
We bought an EV and the car came with a wall charger. So we needed someone to install it and went to google and searched. Let me tell you, Troy with Intravolt was beyond our expectations. Installed the charger perfectly and with a decent price! He noticed some other things that didn’t look safe with our pool pump. We called him back a situate it. Highly recommend!!
My in-laws stay at my condo in Chatsworth and told me they were having issues with some outlets and light fixtures in part of the house. After calling around to more than a handful of electricians early on a Thursday, 2 didn’t answer, one’s voicemail instructed me to leave a message to get a text back with a different number to call, 2 wouldn’t be able to check it out until next week, 1 said he would check the schedule later in the afternoon to see what they could do, and lastly Troy - he said he could try after he picked up his kids from school if that was OK with me. Obviously I wanted this fixed as soon as possible and I took his offer. He didn’t charge me a service call fee (some of the others said they charged one, some didn’t) and said if he had to fix anything thats when the clock would start and asked if I wanted it done on the spot if it was something he could fix. Troy advised me it was something LADWP needed to look at ASAP. He instructed me to call their emergency services department and told me what to tell them and he even followed up the next day to make sure i got the help I needed. All this customer service at no charge. He also brought to my attention some recalled electric panels needed to be replaced in my garage as it is a fire hazard. His prices seem on the higher side, but his attention to detail and care for a situation is much appreciated. I would not hesitate to call for service again in the future if I need it. The issue ended up having to be handled by HOA, but the help I got from Troy, I would have gladly paid for.
We recently found Intravolt Electric on Google and had them come to install a Ring Doorbell Pro 2 and Stick Up Cam at our townhome. We are so glad we found them and are extremely pleased with their work!
